Greek Fur at the ILOE STUDIOS 2025 International Exhibition for the First Time 2025

Athens, April 7, 2025, | Greece participated with 11 fur industry companies in the mission organized for the first time by Enterprise Greece, in collaboration with the Kastoria Chamber of Commerce, for the international exhibition ILOE STUDIOS 2025, which took place from March 23 to 25, 2025, at the Donald E Stephens Convention Center in Chicago, USA.

The ILOE exhibition is one of the most important fashion events for garments, footwear, and accessories, with a focus on leather and fur products. The event serves as a comprehensive platform for brands, offering suitable opportunities for collaborations, business agreements, and the discovery of new fashion trends.

Enterprise Greece, in collaboration with the Kastoria Chamber of Commerce, organized the national delegation and contributed to the promotion of Greece as a country with a strong fur production industry. The Greek companies that participated in the exhibition stood out for the innovation of their products, sustainability, and tradition, while impressing with their expertise and attention to detail, attracting the interest of top buyers and consumers from around the world.

The CEO of Enterprise Greece, Dr. Marinos Giannoulos, praised the successful national representation, stating: “Enterprise Greece aims to strengthen the fur industry. That is why, following our support for Greek furriers who participated in the organization of The One by Micam held in Milan this February, we participated for the first time, on a pilot basis, in a mission outside European borders, at the ILOE STUDIOS International Exhibition in Chicago, USA. There, Enterprise Greece, in collaboration with the Kastoria Chamber of Commerce, successfully organized the participation of 11 Greek companies. Additionally, at the initiative of Enterprise Greece, for the fourth consecutive year, a program has been organized to invite buyers from Romania, Armenia, Mongolia, Japan, Korea, and Kazakhstan, to the 50th International Fur Fair, which will take place from April 9-11, 2025, in Kastoria.”

On his part, the First Vice President of the Kastoria Chamber of Commerce, Mr. Alkiviadis Ballis, referring to the successful Greek presence, said: “On behalf of the Kastoria Chamber of Commerce, we would like to sincerely thank Enterprise Greece for its contribution to strengthening Greek fur companies.
