BATIMAT 2022 INTERNATIONAL BUILDING MATERIALS EXHIBITION

BATIMAT– is the international multi-specialism trade show for the construction industry (indoor and outdoor).  It draws in all contractor decision-makers and professionals to select the innovative solutions for the buildings of today and tomorrow.

Batimat is the exhibition for promoting and offering a preview of innovations for decision-makers on the French and international markets.

All sectors of construction, for all stages of construction are included in the biennial exhibition. The last time BATIMA opened its doors was in 2019 because of the pandemic. The 2022 event will be held at the Porte de Versailles exhibition center in Paris.

It’s considered one of the most important exhibitions for the construction sector globally, as it gathers more than 320,000 French and international professionals in the sector (developers, manufacturers, suppliers and distributors), who propose the technical solutions of the future.

The trade show is split into 6 clearly defined trades in order to facilitate visitors and covers the entire wide range of equipment, products and services of the relevant industry. The sectoral division of the exhibition saves time for the exhibitors, since they dedicate their time in the special audience they are interested in. Along with the “BATIMAT” exhibition, the following  are also organized:

IDEOBAIN – bathroom materials and equipment

INTERCLIMA – the leading show for all the big names in climate control and construction heating, cooling, green technology. In this year’s event there will be a section dedicated to sustainable development and circular economy.

Organizers, with tailored events, workshops and more than 100 conferences such as:  “honored countries”, “innovative products award”, as well as the media coverage and podcasts, ensure high and strictly professional traffic inside the show.

In particular, the professional community of architects visits the exhibition with particular interest and always has a large participation in  parallel events.

Also, this year, the 3rd competition  “CHALLENGE START-UPS CONSTRUCTION TECH”, is estimated to bring together a large number of start-ups in the sector, focusing on the new challenges following the pandemic.
