The work of the Enterprise Greece Information Department involves:

  1. Providing a thorough, in-depth briefing about how to develop an exportable product and export procedures for Greek businesses that are either interested in or in the early stages of exporting. The briefing takes the form of a training course lasting approximately 10 hours or individual meetings.
  2. Working with other bodies, e.g. chambers, associations, etc., particularly in rural areas, where the training courses are organised and run jointly.
  3. Operating a data base to supply Greek exporters with useful information about foreign companies (importers/distributors, supermarkets). Also, processing statistical data from the International Trade Centre (ITC) and extracting useful conclusions in the form of desk research.
  4. Providing information about a country’s import regime and the procedures that must be followed to avoid problems at customs offices.

For more information please contact the Enterprise Greece Business Information & Support Department (Georgios Papastergiopoulos, tel: 210 3355755).
