GREEK MARBLE | Then.Now.Forever 40 Greek companies with impressive pavilions at Marmomac 2025

Athens, October 7, 2025 | Enterprise Greece in cooperation with the Association of Marble Enterprises of Macedonia–Thrace (SEMMTH) and the Greek Marble Association (GMA), organized for the third consecutive year the promotion of the national identity Greek Marble | Then.Now.Forever at the international exhibition Marmomac, held from September 23 to 26, 2025, in Verona, Italy.

At the largest and most prestigious international exhibition in the sector—with more than 50,000 professional visitors from 140 countries and 1,400 exhibitors from 54 countries—Greece was represented by 40 leading companies. The impressive Greek pavilions, spread across seven halls, showcased the unique characteristics, diversity, and high aesthetics of Greek marble, presenting innovative architectural applications with an emphasis on sustainability.

In addition, a dedicated Greek marble promotion booth was set up in a central area of the exhibition, attracting the attention of numerous visitors. The campaign “Greek Marble | Then.Now.Forever – A symbol of excellence” was strategically displayed on the façades of central Marmomac buildings, featured in the official exhibition catalogue, and projected on the main screen of the Marmomac Plus Theater hall—the key meeting point for presentations and discussions by leading architectural firms, construction groups, and distinguished artists from around the world.

As part of the sector’s international outreach and cooperation, a networking event was co-organized by Enterprise Greece and SEMMTH on the third day of the exhibition, among other related activities.

The Greek participation was honored by the presence of representatives from the Embassy of Greece in Italy, including Ms. Vasiliki Kouskouti, Counselor for Economic and Commercial Affairs at the Office of Economic and Commercial Affairs in Rome, and Ms. Pagona Larda, Senior Counselor for Economic and Commercial Affairs at the corresponding office in Milan, along with representatives from the Region of Central Greece and the Chamber of Evia.

Once again, Greece demonstrated that Greek marble—with its rich history and international reputation—continues to be synonymous with quality, luxury, and timeless value.

As noted by Dr. Marinos Giannopoulos, CEO of Enterprise Greece:
“Greece’s participation in Marmomac 2025 reaffirms the global strength of Greek marble. With 40 leading companies and a unified strategic presentation, we highlight marble as a material that bridges tradition and innovation, resilience and aesthetics—offering solutions that meet the demands of modern architecture and sustainability.”
