Athens, 4 February 2026 | With a landmark participation that confirms the strength of Greek gastronomy, Greece emerged as one of the leading protagonists at Gulfood 2026. The Dubai exhibition, now established as the world’s premier event for the Food & Beverage industry, hosted more than 7,500 exhibitors and 200,000 visitors this year.

The Numbers Behind the Success

At a 1,000 sq.m. national pavilion that became a focal point for thousands of visitors, 75 leading Greek exporters showcased some of the most competitive products of Greek production. The response was unprecedented:

  • 13,000+ B2B meetings: Greek exhibitors engaged with buyers from every corner of the globe.
  • Access to 2 billion consumers: Gulfood serves as a gateway to the fast-growing markets of the Middle East, Africa, and South Asia.
  • 31 Years of Uninterrupted Presence: A strategic relationship that reached milestone performance levels this year.

Enterprise Greece stood actively alongside the participating companies, together with the Regions of Attica, Thessaly, and Central Greece, as well as the Chambers of Evia and Larissa, reinforcing regional export outreach.

Diplomatic and Business Support

The national delegation was honored by the Ambassador of Greece to the UAE, Mr. Stylianos Gavriil, accompanied by the Head of the Economic and Commercial Affairs Office, Mr. Theodoros Xypolias, underscoring the importance of the economic ties between the two countries.
