Greece Participates for the First Time in Jewellery Arabia
Strong national presence at the leading B2C event in the Middle East
Athens, 12 December 2025 | For the first time, Greece participated with a National Pavilion at the largest B2C jewellery exhibition in the Middle East, Jewellery Arabia 2025, which was held from 25 to 29 November 2025 at the Exhibition World Bahrain in Bahrain. The Greek participation was organized by Enterprise Greece, featuring eight leading Greek companies from the jewellery and gold sector, with the aim of networking and expanding the industry’s export activity.
Jewellery Arabia is one of the most iconic events in the global luxury market, hosting top international brands and offering a dynamic environment for developing partnerships and enhancing business presence in the Middle East. The exhibition covers the full spectrum of luxury jewellery and watches: from fine & high-end jewellery, precious stones, diamonds, pearls, and precious metals to fashion jewellery, luxury watches, and collectible pieces.
This year’s event attracted 56,848 visitors and 657 exhibitors from around the world, drawing retail buyers, collectors, international buyers, traders, and market professionals, creating fertile ground for networking and exports.
At the same time, the visitor experience was elevated through specialized premium services such as:
• Jewellery Arabia Atelier – personalization, resizing, cleaning, and jewellery repair services
• DANAT Certification Station – official certification of gemstones and pearls by the Bahrain Institute for Pearls and Gemstones (DANAT)
• Gift Wrapping & Flowers Station – high-aesthetic service for luxury gift wrapping and floral arrangements
The Greek presence—distinguished by creativity and high aesthetics—attracted strong interest from buyers and visitors from the Middle East and beyond. Greek companies showcased their creations to an audience with high purchasing power, strengthening their extroversion and expanding their footprint in the Gulf markets—Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE—as well as in the Middle East and Asia.
The national pavilion received highly positive feedback from the organizers and well-known influencers and was prominently featured throughout the exhibition via the event’s official website and numerous social media posts.
Referring to the Greek mission, the CEO of Enterprise Greece, Dr. Marinos Giannopoulos, emphasized: “Greece’s first national participation in Jewellery Arabia 2025 is not merely a national presence, but a dynamic entry of our country into one of the world’s most important luxury markets. The impressive response from visitors, the strong interest from both B2B and B2C buyers, as well as the interaction with key stakeholders of the Middle Eastern market, confirm that Greek jewellery has the power to stand out and inspire. Enterprise Greece will continue to consistently support the sector’s extroversion, strengthening Greece’s presence in international markets and highlighting the talent and creativity of our country.”
