Greek Cosmetics Conquer the International Stage
Strong Presence at Cosmoprof Bologna 2026
Athens, 20 April 2026 | Greece’s participation in the 57th edition of Cosmoprof Worldwide Bologna, the leading international trade fair for the cosmetics and beauty industry, concluded on a highly positive note, attracting strong business interest. The exhibition took place from 26 to 29 March in Bologna, Italy.
This year’s event once again confirmed its global stature, welcoming more than 255,000 visitors from 155 countries. A total of 3,104 companies from 68 countries participated, with 80% of exhibitors coming from abroad.
The Greek delegation, comprising 36 companies under the organization of Enterprise Greece, recorded a dynamic presence, holding more than 1,000 targeted business meetings (B2B). The strong response from international buyers and industry professionals confirmed the continued rise of Greek cosmetics and the strengthening of their position in global markets.
Greece’s successful participation in Cosmoprof Worldwide Bologna 2026 confirms that Greek cosmetics have now become a benchmark for quality, innovation, and modern business dynamism in the international marketplace.
The national participation was strongly represented across all key sectors of the exhibition, covering the entire value chain of the beauty industry:
- Cosmo Perfumery & Cosmetics – finished cosmetic, fragrance and personal care products
- Cosmopack – raw materials, packaging, machinery and production technologies
- Cosmo Hair, Nail & Beauty Salon – professional products and services for beauty salons and wellness spaces
The Counsellor for Economic and Commercial Affairs at the Office of Economic and Commercial Affairs of Greece in Rome, Ms. Vasiliki Kouskouti, visited the pavilions, met with exhibitors, and expressed the support of the Greek Embassy for the international growth efforts of Greek businesses.
