Greece at the International Exhibition “INDAGRA 2025” in Bucharest
Enterprise Greece strengthens the international presence of the Greek agricultural sector
Athens, 07 November 2025 | Enterprise Greece once again successfully organized the National Participation of Greece at the International Agricultural Exhibition “INDAGRA 2025”, held from October 29 to November 2, 2025, at the ROMEXPO Exhibition Center in Bucharest, Romania.
INDAGRA is Romania’s largest and most influential exhibition for the agricultural sector, organized annually by ROMEXPO in collaboration with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Romania. The fair attracts leading companies and professionals from across Europe, serving as a key hub for agricultural innovation, technology, and trade partnerships.
This year, the Greek national pavilion featured the companies Palaplast, Evak, Siptec, Olimpias, Avramis Roses, Agrology, Olympus Nursery – Pepiniera Olympys, and — for the first time since the pandemic — the Hellenic Agricultural Machinery Manufacturers Association (EKAGEM).
Under the new collective brand “Greece | Agricultural Equipment – From Seed to Harvest,” created by Enterprise Greece, the national presence stood out for its modern design, high-quality exhibits, and the strong technological expertise and competitiveness of Greek enterprises.
Romania: A strategic market for Greek exports
Romania remains a strategic target market for Greek agricultural equipment. In 2024, it ranked as the second largest destination for Greek exports in the sector, representing 18.9% of total exports — after Bulgaria (19.7%) and ahead of Ukraine (13.3%).
According to ITC-Trade Map and EPM-Greece, Greek exports of agricultural equipment to Romania grew by 23.4% in the period January–August 2025, compared with the same period in 2024 — highlighting the sector’s growing momentum.
Institutional visits and recognition
Mr. Konstantinos Dikaros, Head of the Economic and Commercial Affairs Office in Bucharest, Mr. Grigoris Stafidas, Second Secretary for Economic and Commercial Affairs, and Mr. Angelos Frangos, General Director of the Hellenic-Romanian Chamber of Commerce, visited the Greek pavilion.
During the exhibition, EKAGEM presented honorary plaques to Mr. Konstantinos Dikaros, Counselor for Economic and Commercial Affairs A’, and Ms. Vivi Kalamara, Head of Agricultural Equipment Extroversion at Enterprise Greece, in recognition of their significant contribution to the promotion of Greek enterprises and the international outreach of the sector. The awards were presented by Ms. Dimitra Emmanouilidou, President of EKAGEM, and Ms. Voula Georganti, Member of the Board.
