Dynamic presence of Greek startups at the international exhibition We Make Future 2025 (WMF 2025)

 

Athens, June 30, 2025 | Ten innovative Greek startups participated in We Make Future (WMF 2025), the International Fair – Festival of Artificial Intelligence, Technology, and Digital Innovation, held from June 4 to 6, 2025, in Bologna, Italy.

The national participation was co-organized by Enterprise Greece and the Italian-Hellenic Chamber of Commerce of Thessaloniki, with the support of the Athens Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Start-up Incubator (THEA), and the Thessaloniki Chamber of Commerce and Industry (TCCI).

We Make Future attracts more than 70,000 visitors from 90 countries, over 700 exhibitors and sponsors, and 3,000 startups, investors, and VC funds across more than 90 thematic stages.

The ten startups that participated in the national delegation were: Agenso, ADR Point, Hobsido (Ektimiseto.gr), Inteligg – c-BEMS, ModelSprint, SMART MATCH, SmartRep, Star Sleep, Travelr, and WUART by Modihive.
During the exhibition, the Greek companies conducted more than 100 targeted B2B meetings with investors, clients, and industry experts. Notably, three (3) of the ten Greek startups were selected by the organizers to participate in a special pitching session, where they presented their innovative ideas, specialized solutions, products, and services to a panel of investors. This selection highlights the competitiveness and high level of innovation of the Greek participants.
All companies also had the opportunity to pitch their proposals to the investor and CEO of Factory Accademia, the CEO of LUMSA Digital Hub, and the CEO of INNOVATIONSHIP.

The special guest of the event was Stratos Simopoulos, Member of Parliament for Thessaloniki A’ and Chair of the Special Permanent Committee on Research & Technology of the Hellenic Parliament. He participated in the “Opportunity in Balkans” panel, where he showcased the financial incentives and infrastructure that position Greece as a key innovation hub in the region. Specifically, he stated:
Greece, and especially Thessaloniki, is evolving into a dynamic innovation hub. We provide incentives and boast exceptional scientific talent.
