Innovative Solutions for the Primary Sector from 10 Greek Companies at the International “GREEN TECH” 2025 Exhibition in the Netherlands
Athens, June 25, 2025, | For the second consecutive year, Enterprise Greece organized the Greek national participation in the international GreenTech exhibition, held at the RAI Exhibition and Convention Centre in Amsterdam from June 10 to 12, 2025.
GreenTech is the world’s leading platform for professionals primarily in greenhouse technology, smart farming, horticulture, floriculture, and plant science, offering a comprehensive overview of the products, services, and solutions proposed by globally recognized innovative companies.
Enterprise Greece has been making a concerted effort to support the sector in international markets, with clear potential for further growth. Greece is home to companies that stand out for their innovation, high quality, and competitive products, significantly contributing to the international positioning of Greece in the Agri-tech sector.
Dr. Marinos Giannopoulos, CEO of Enterprise Greece, stated regarding the Greek presence at the exhibition:

The Greek exhibitors’ booths featured the sector’s new branding – “Greece Agricultural Equipment | From Seed to Harvest” – designed to boost extroversion and highlight the quality and innovation of Greek enterprises.
As part of the exhibition, educational sessions were held by leading industry experts. Emphasis was placed on sustainable partnerships for global food security and practical development models to help producers optimize decision-making and improve efficiency in crop management. Discussions also highlighted the growing challenges facing the sector due to extreme weather events driven by climate change.
Global attention also focused on technological advances, including robotic harvesting systems, automatic sorting machines, drones for crop monitoring, and key areas such as artificial intelligence, precision agriculture, and vertical farming. Water and energy management are now critical issues for the survival of societies around the world, and many companies are intensively working to find and implement the best possible solutions in this field.
The exhibition was visited by the Ambassador of Greece to The Hague, Ms. Katerina Ghini, and the Head of the Economic and Commercial Affairs Office, Mr. Apostolos Michalopoulos. Together with the Enterprise Greece representative, they held a series of meetings with the Greek exhibitors.
In her statement, Ambassador Ghini emphasized the strength of Greek companies in a highly competitive environment:
“This year, with the support of Enterprise Greece, Greece had a dynamic presence at the exhibition and made its mark with the innovative products presented by ten outward-looking Greek companies. Mr. Michalopoulos and I visited the exhibition and all the Greek booths and spoke with the Greek exhibitors about the emerging business opportunities and partnerships at both European and international levels. The Greek participants expressed their satisfaction both with the organization of the exhibition and with its high attendance and impact in the field of Agri-tech developments.”
