GULFOOD 2025 Record Participation of Greece at the largest International Food Exhibition in the Middle East 2025

Athens, February 27, 2025, | Greece participated with its largest presence in recent years in the 30th anniversary edition of Gulfood 2025, the most significant food and beverage exhibition in the Middle East, held annually at the World Trade Center in Dubai. The event brought together over 5,500 exhibitors and 100,000 visitors.
A total of 65 Greek exporters participated in the national pavilion, showcasing an exceptional variety of Greek foods and beverages with high nutritional value to thousands of commercial visitors. The Regions of Thessaly and Central Greece, the Chamber of Evia, and the Chamber of Larissa also participated, supporting the export companies from their respective areas.
The Greek participation was organized by Enterprise Greece – Investment and Export Promotion Agency, and the national pavilion exceeded all expectations in terms of visitor attendance. Greek exporters made over 13,000 business contacts, boosting the prospects for further growth in food and beverage exports.
The national pavilion was also visited and supported by all the staff from the commercial office in the United Arab Emirates.
The Minister of Rural Development and Food, Konstantinos Tsiaras, honored the Greek delegation with his presence, accompanied by the President of ELGO Demeter, Antonios Filippis, and senior officials from the ministry.
The CEO of Enterprise Greece, Dr. Marinos Giannopoulos, stated: “Greece’s dynamic presence at Gulfood 2025, the most important food and beverage exhibition in the Middle East, not only fills us with satisfaction but also with expectations for further growth in food and beverage exports. This participation strengthens Greece’s position as a key player in the global food and beverage market, opening new prospects for cooperation and development.
