12th Annual Greek Roadshow in London

Enterprise Greece joined forces with the Athens Stock Exchange to support the 12th Annual Greek Roadshow, a forum for Greek businesses to connect with global investors. Thirty-three (33) listed Greek companies participated in the event, presenting their business plans and growth prospects to the international investment community.
On the sidelines of the Roadshow, held Sept. 20-21 in London, Enterprise Greece executives also held more than 60 meetings with executives from international investment firms to brief them on recent developments in the country’s investment framework, the latest foreign direct investment trends, as well as Greece’s growth prospects. There was particular interest shown for investments in infrastructure, tourism, real estate, energy, health and export processing projects. The investors who met with Enterprise Greece executives shared the conviction that the investment climate is now very positive for the country.
On the first day of the event, Greek officials spoke on the central theme: Greece in an Accelerating Growth Phase, with speeches by Minister of Economy and Development Dimitri Papadimitriou and Alternate Finance Minister George Chouliarakis. Enterprise Greece CEO Elias Athanasiou participated in panels on the Greek economy and its prospects.
In remarks, Enterprise Greece CEO Elias Athanasiou said: “The goal of Enterprise Greece – the national investment and trade promotion agency – is to contribute to the growth of the Greek economy through a focused business strategy, employing best international practices used by other state investment promotion agencies. In this context, and taking into account the importance and role of capital markets in spurring the growth of Greece’s economy, the agency participated in the 12th Roadshow in London.”
