BATIMAT 2019 Exhibition
Athens, 15 November 2019 | Greece’s growing building materials and construction sector made a strong showing at BATIMAT 2019, the most important industry exhibition in France, held 4-8 November at the Paris International Exhibition Center, Parc des Expositions.
In total, 21 companies participated in the Greek national stand, organized by Enterprise Greece. The Greek companies presented a range of products, including insulating materials & paints, marble, integrated aluminum systems, metal structures & railing products, nanotechnology products, and more.
On the sidelines of the exhibition, representatives of Enterprise Greece and the Greek Embassy in Paris held meetings with business leaders to explore new avenues for cooperation. Apart from opportunities offered by the French market, the meetings also involved companies in French-speaking countries in Africa, which in recent years have shown a strong interest in Greek products.
BATIMAT, held every two years, is one of the most important exhibitions in the construction industry worldwide and attracts the largest number of French and international professionals in the sector (manufacturers, suppliers, developers and distributors), as well as showcasing related products, equipment and services. Thirteen (13) of the Greek companies participated under the European Union co-funded National Strategic Reference Framework program: “We Venture Abroad”, and eight (8) with the support of Enterprise Greece.
