Cooperation with SEVPDE

Athens, 9 November 2020Ι Enterprise Greece and the Federation of Enterprises and Industries of the Peloponnese and Western Greece (SEVPDE) signed today a Cooperation Agreement aiming at supporting SMEs, strengthening export activities and promoting their international investment profile.
Both sides aim to promote and develop the export dynamics of SMEs and provide information and advisory assistance to Greek companies, as well as, tο exchange of know-how and best practices of extroversion, with the ultimate goal to enhance competitiveness and international visibility of Greek entrepreneurship.
Within the framework of the Cooperation Agreement, both sides agreed, inter alia, to carry out a series of actions including the organisation of workshops and training seminars on export issues and procedures, the promotion of investment projects of the members of the Federation to international markets and the exchange of views on potential new target markets of interest to Greek SMEs.
Mr. George Filiopoulos, CEO of Enterprise Greece, stated:
“Enterprise Greece demonstrates once again its commitment to support Greek exporters and Greek enterprises. Enterprise Greece agreed today to strengthen its cooperation with the Federation of Enterprises and Industries of Peloponnese and Western Greece in order to jointly provide all necessary support services to Greek enterprises, with a focus on SMEs, ultimately facilitating their international visibility and international business network, in view of the second upcoming wave of pandemic outbreak”.
Emeritus Professor Cleomenis Barlos, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Federation of Enterprises and Industries of Peloponnese and Western Greece, stated:
“The signing of the agreement with Enterprise Greece is of paramount importance for our local enterprises and seals the very good cooperation between us. Enterprise Greece’s support towards export companies is widely known, critical and substantial. The Federation of Enterprises and Industries of Peloponnese and Western Greece established in 1918, with 102 years of uninterrupted presence and contribution to the business environment, leads the way for development and progress of extrovert and innovative enterprises, not only in our region, but all over Greece, has decided to join forces with Enterprise Greece to better achieve these goals”.
