Dynamic Presence of Greece in the exhibitions WHO’S NEXT-BIJORHCA and MAISON ET OBJET

Athens, January 27, 2023– The Hellenic Investment and Trade Promotion Agency (Enterprise Greece) organised the greek participation in the international exhibitions of clothing, accessories and jewellery, WHO’S NEXT-BIJORHCA, as well as in the international decoration exhibition MAISON ET OBJET, which were held in Paris.

Greek fashion and decoration had a strong presence in the french capital, as the national participation in all exhibitions exceeded all expectations. In the international exhibitions WHO’S NEXT-BIJORHCA, which were held from January 21-23, 22 greek companies participated. More specifically, there 13 from the clothing sector and 9 from the jewellery sector.

WHO’S NEXT is the leading international fashion trade exhibition for women’s clothing in Europe. It is held every January and September with more than 46,000 visitors approximately entering the Porte de Versailles Exhibition Centre in Paris, where almost 600 french and international brands are represented. BIJORHCA is one of the largest biggest international exhibitions specialised in the promotion of companies dealing with the production and trading of jewellery, watches and their manufacturing materials.

Greece had a significant presence in MAISON ET OBJET PARIS, which took place on January 19-23, with 28 greek companies participating with the support of Enterprise Greece. The great international decoration exhibition is organised twice a year at Paris Nord Villepinte, in a specially designed exhibition space of 113,000 sq.m., representing 14 sectors in the following product categories: COOK & SHARE, SMART GIFT, KIDS & FAMILY, FASHION ACCESSORIES, HOME ACCESSORIES, FRAGRANCES, HOME LINEN, CRAFT – métiers d’art, UNIQUE & ECLECTIC, TODAY, FOREVER, OUTDOOR, PROJECTS, WORK & SIGNATURE.

The Greek participation in the exhibitions was honoured by the visit of the 2nd General Counsellor for Economic and Commercial Affairs and Director of the E.C.A. Office at the Embassy of Greece in Paris, Dr Nikoalos Belias and the Counsellor for E.C.A. of the E.C.A. Office at the Embassy of Greece in Paris, Dr Marios Mathioudakis, who had the opportunity to meet and discuss with greek exhibitors.
