Enterprise Greece organizes B2B meetings for building materials sector

With the aim of supporting the external activities of Greek businesses and increasing Greek exports, Enterprise Greece is organizing a series of targeted business meetings. Specifically, as part of its 2017 program of events, Enterprise Greece is planning business meetings for companies in the building materials sector to be held Oct. 2-3 in Thessaloniki.

The meetings will include thirty importers and construction companies from Arab and North African countries, and more than fifty Greek exporters in building materials sector. The meetings are being organized with the support of the Greek International Business Association (SEVE).

Buyers will be coming from the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Lebanon, Egypt, Tunisia, Morocco and Kenya. The aim of the program is to enable Greek companies to hold business-to-business (B2B) meetings with foreign buyers, to explore possibilities for cooperation and to gather information about the competition and conditions in target markets.

The business meetings are also supported by the dmg events company, which organizes a series of exhibitions for the building materials industry in the countries concerned, most notably the Big5 Show held in Dubai in November.

Enterprise Greece CEO Elias Athanasiou said: “Enterprise Greece, as part of its overall mission to support the economy, is active in promoting exports by Greek businesses. Successfully entering the global market is a significant step for a modern Greek business, and our organization actively supports companies in providing new business contacts with companies internationally.”
