Enterprise Greece Re-Elected to the Boards of Directors of International Organizations
Athens, December 11, 2024 | The election process for the Boards of Directors of Trade Promotion Europe (TPE) and ANIMA Investment Network, two international organizations in which Enterprise Greece participates, has recently concluded. As part of its mission to promote Greece’s image and its positions in investment attraction and export promotion, Enterprise Greece has been re-elected to the Boards of Directors of both organizations for another term, further cementing Greece’s strong standing in these areas.
Trade Promotion Europe (TPE)
TPE is an association of national and regional export promotion organizations (Trade Promotion Organizations) from EU member states. It consists of 32 members from 21 countries and aims to strengthen European exports and the internationalization of European SMEs through better coordination and the exchange of information with relevant EU services.
Enterprise Greece, a founding member of TPE, has actively participated in the Board of Directors since the association’s inception. Among its key contributions, Enterprise Greece:
• Successfully managed the secretariat of the association during its early years.
• Designed strategies for the sustainability of TPE and the attraction of new members.
• Led the recent name change and rebranding of the association.
• Co-shaped the strategy for the next five years.
On the Board of Directors, Enterprise Greece collaborates with other leading organizations, such as Enterprise Ireland, Flanders Investment and Trade (FIT), Germany Trade and Investment (GTAI), and Business France. The re-election of Greece for the 2025-2028 term is a significant achievement, especially considering the competition from organizations from major European economies.
ANIMA Investment Network
The ANIMA Investment Network is a Euro-Mediterranean network that promotes economic cooperation between Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, with more than 70 members from 20 countries.
Enterprise Greece has been a member of ANIMA since 2006 and has participated in its Board of Directors since 2017, holding the role of President in several sub-committees. For the 2025-2028 term, Enterprise Greece has been elected Vice President, responsible for the strategic development of the network and the promotion and improvement of services to its members.
Strategic Partnerships
Enterprise Greece’s participation in the Boards of Directors of TPE and ANIMA is part of a broader effort to strengthen Greece’s international presence and deepen its economic relationships with strategic partners.
