Athens, December 17, 2024 – Enterprise Greece showcased Greek innovation through its participation in two major international events: the “Electronica 2024” exhibition in Munich and the “Web Summit 2024” in Lisbon, both held in November 2024. Greece’s participation promoted Greek technology companies and enhanced their international presence in foreign markets. Looking ahead, the Company is already planning new initiatives for 2025.

From November 12 to 15, 2024, Enterprise Greece, in collaboration with HETIA (Hellenic Emerging Technologies Industry Association), organized the national pavilion and Greek participation in the “Electronica 2024” exhibition in Munich, Germany.
Electronica is the leading global exhibition for electronic and electrical technologies. This year’s event brought together 3,480 exhibitors from 59 countries and attracted approximately 80,000 visitors from 100 countries.
The Greek delegation included innovative Greek companies, which had the opportunity to present their advanced products and solutions to key representatives from the global market. During the exhibition, the Consul General of Greece visited the national pavilion in Munich and the Head of the Hellenic Institute of Technology Office, who engaged with Greek businesses. Dr. Emmanouil Zervakis, President of HETIA, stated: “As HETIA is the core of Greece’s chip and embedded systems design ecosystem, we are particularly pleased to participate for the second time in Electronica, with a national pavilion following our first successful presence. This year’s participation, combined with the recent approval for the establishment of the Hellenic Chips Competence Center (HCCC), highlighted Greece’s capabilities in the microelectronics sector and provided us with valuable connections with leading players in the international semiconductor ecosystem. We warmly thank Enterprise Greece for its support in co-organizing the national mission, placing Greece on the microelectronics map, and aligning it with the European Union’s CHIPS Act strategy.”
