Enterprise Greece to organize 4th Business Meeting Program for Greek dairy producers for June

Athens, 29 March 2019 | Enterprise Greece will be organizing a new round of focused B2B meetings with foreign buyers from around the world in June as part of the 4th Business Meeting Program for Greek food exporters.

The 4th Business Meeting Program is part of Enterprise Greece’s strategic plan for the promotion of the agro-food industry, which the agency has been carrying out since 2016. The program includes, among other things, the organization of business meetings with foreign buyers and trade missions to targeted markets abroad. These initiatives have helped promote Greek exports in overseas markets and established Greece’s reputation for high-quality products as reflected by continuing record export growth.

This year’s event focuses on the cheese products submarket and marks the launch of an integrated program for the promotion of Greek dairy and cheese products. A series of targeted business meetings are planned in Athens on June 10, and in Larissa on June 12. The meetings will be with buyers from Asia, Oceania, the Far East, USA, Canada and Europe, with the aim of providing new opportunities for Greek businesses and increasing Greek exports.

The meetings will provide Greek exporters the opportunity to meet with participating buyers and foreign representatives of distribution networks and retail chains. The meetings are being organized with the support of the Economic and Commercial Affairs Offices of the Embassies of Greece, which will provide exporters about competitive conditions and market opportunities in the target markets.

For more information on the meetings or to express interest in participating, Greek companies can contact Enterprise Greece at www.enterprisegreece.gov.gr. The deadline for submission of participation is April 11.
