Greece at the centre of attention of Finnish companies! Enterprise Greece has briefed Finnish companies on investment opportunities

Athens, April 24th, 2024 | Greece is a pole of attraction for Finnish companies in the sectors of industry, supply chain, technology and production of innovative products and services, which participated in an investment event organized by the Finnish Investment and Trade Promotion Agency, Business Finland, in cooperation with the country’s embassies in Southeast Europe, the Business Association of Finland and Central and Eastern European Countries, the Finnish Chamber of Commerce, the Helsinki Region Chamber of Commerce, and the Enterprise Europe Network (EEN).
The event, which was organised on April 17th, 2024 and aimed at highlighting the significant business opportunities available in the region, was attended by over 100 Finnish business executives from all over the country, who had the opportunity to be briefed by Enterprise Greece on the investment opportunities, the investment-business framework and the possibilities of expansion in the Greek market.
Enterprise Greece was represented by Mr. Elias Eliades, Director of Investment Attraction in the sectors of industry, supply chain and technology, who presented the Greek investment proposal. Mr. Eliades mainly focused on the positive macroeconomic figures presented by the country with emphasis on the dynamic growth rate, the reforms aimed at shaping a favourable investment environment, the knowledge-intensive and high added-value investments that Greece has attracted in recent years, especially in the fields of research & development and innovation, the available financial instruments, as well as the support services provided by Enterprise Greece to prospective investors.
On the sidelines of the event, private meetings were held with representatives of 15 Finnish companies in the fields of software and automated systems development, production of tyres and surface finishing and precision grinding products, development of technological solutions for weather, environmental and industrial measurements, logistics infrastructures, defence solutions and systems.
