Greece participated with ten companies in the international fair FHA-Food & Beverage

Athens, May 12, 2023 | With 10 major companies from the food and drinks sector, Greece participated in the international fair FHA-Food & Beverage, which was held in Singapore on April 25-28, 2023.

FHA-Food & Beverage made a strong, post-pandemic return this year and was hosted in Singapore Expo, a 40,000 sq. m. exhibition venue with over 50 national kiosks and 1,300 exhibitors. The Fair welcomed more than 40,000 visitors, 75% of which active in the processing industry. It is worth noting that this fair provides suppliers with access to quality buyers, such as distributors, importers, manufacturers and retailers and offers participants with the opportunity of acquiring valuable knowledge on the developments and future tendencies of the food and drinks industry.

The Greek presence in the fair was strong, with 10 companies, 4 of which participated with the support of the Region of Thessaly and the Chamber of Thessaly, in order to utilize their development prospects in Southeastern Asia. During the FHA-Food & Beverage, over 350 meetings were held with commercial visitors from Singapore, Malaysia, China, Japan, America, Korea, Vietnam, Taiwan Province of China and Thailand, being new commercial contacts in their vast majority.

The national kiosk was visited by the Minister of National Development of Singapore, Mr. Desmond Lee, as well as by Greek Ambassador, his excellence Mr. Georgios Dogoritis, who met with the mission of Enterprise Greece and had the opportunity of speaking with Greek exhibitors.
