Greece participates with 29 companies in COSMOPROF WORLDWIDE BOLOGNA 2023
Athens, March 27, 2023 – Twenty-nine (29) Greek companies of the cosmetics and perfume sector participated in the national mission successfully organized by the Greek Company of Investments and Foreign Trade (Enterprise Greece) in the 54th International Fair of Perfume and Cosmetics, COSMOPROF WORLDWIDE BOLOGNA 2023, held in Bologna, Italy, on March 16-20, 2023.
This is the top event in the sector of beauty, held in the renovated venue of “Bologna Fiere Exhibition Centre”, with an area of 200,000 sq. m., and our country having secured an exhibition location of 860 sq. m., in 8 Halls, aiming to achieve improved promotion of Greek companies.
In this year’s fair, 2,984 exhibitors from 64 countries participated, with visitors reaching the number of 250,000, from 153 countries. The number of participating companies was increased by 11% in comparison to the 2022 event, a fact which proves the increasing dynamics developed by the cosmetics industry.
For fifty years, Cosmoprof Worldwide Bologna has been attracting the most important professionals, manufacturers and merchants of the sector. Annually, over 200,000 visitors arrive in Bologna, as this fair is believed to be shaping worldwide tendencies for the entire beauty industry.
As in 2022, Cosmoprof was separated in three sectors of products, with different dates in order to facilitate and provide safety to visitors and to maximize networking opportunities.
In detail, the following exhibitions were held:
• COSMOPACK (16-18/03/2023), focusing on the complete supply chain of the cosmetics industry, such as ingredients and raw materials, private label product manufacturing, packaging, machinery, automations etc.
• COSMO PERFUMERY & COSMETICS (16-18/03/2023), focusing on the sector of cosmetics and specifically on body and face care.
• COSMO (HAIR & NAIL) BEAUTY SALON (17-20/03/2023) focusing on the sector of cosmetics and specifically on hair and nails care.
