Greece to participate in CEBIT 2018, Europe’s leading innovation and technology trade fair

For the second year running, Greece will participate in CEBIT 2018, Europe’s leading international trade fair for innovation and digitization. CEBIT covers the digitization of business, government and society from every angle and will be held in Hannover, Germany, June 11-15.

Enterprise Greece considers the Greek participation in CEBIT a key event for the growing and dynamic IT sector of the country. The Greek national pavilion, organized by Enterprise Greece in collaboration with the Hellenic Information Technology and Communications Association (SEPE), the Association of Information Technology Companies of Northern Greece (SEPVE), and with the support of the Hellenic Association of Mobile Application Companies (HAMAC), the Hellenic-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and Corallia as coordinator of mi-Cluster, si-Cluster, and gi-Cluster, will be located in a prime location in Hall 15.

The organizers of CEBIT have continued to invest in and develop the event, making it an ideal and innovative business platform. The show’s focus is on generating leads and business for all participants, through the four pillars of the revamped fair: d!economy – targeted B2B meetings, d!tec – disruptive business models and start-ups, d!talk – conferences and workshops,  and, new this year, d!campus – outdoor music, street food and presentations, setting the stage for serious networking.

The combination of trade show and conference, seminars, presentations and workshops, make CEBIT an important venue for Greek solutions providers in the IT and Communications sector to showcase their products and expertise, as well as raise international awareness of the strengths of Greece in this field. The CEBIT organizers have also launched a special platform, online from May 1, giving exhibitors to arrange targeted B2B meetings with one another at the exhibition.
