The Executive Director and Member of the BoD of Enterprise Greece, Ms. Betty Alexandropoulou, noted: ” It is important to point out that an essential part of our mission in Enterprise Greece is not only to provide companies with the opportunity to participate in global trade fairs such as the Big5, but also to guide them through all the necessary steps before, during and after their participation in such events so that they can take full advantage of them and ultimately increase their exports. In this sense, we organize preparatory events before such important exhibitions and take full advantage of their online digital platforms for those companies that cannot attend in the live event. We also invest in group marketing activities that further promote Greek exhibitors and create an integrated Greek branding. A dynamic presence at trade fairs is an important priority for Enterprise Greece, especially for sectors such as the Building and Construction industry, which is one of the largest export sectors of the Greek economy. “.
At his statements, Ambassador Dionyssios Zois stressed the following: “I would like to congratulate Enterprise Greece for the outstanding organization of the Greek Pavilion, which gathered praises from all the exhibitors. I had the honor to welcome to the Greek Pavilion H.H. Sheikh Mansour bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum who inaugurated the Exhibition and to meet with all the Greek exhibitors. I was particularly impressed that, in addition to the high quality of their products, most companies are familiar with the region and have already formed strong partnerships not only in the country but in the broader region as well.
Despite the challenges posed by the pandemic, the interest shown by enterprises that participated for the first time was high as well as their expectations, due to the top quality of their products. The Greek Embassy, the Commercial Office in Dubai and the Commercial Consultant in Abu Dhabi, always remain at the disposal of Greek businessmen”.
Within the StartUp City section, the Director of Small and Medium Enterprises of Enterprise Greece, Mr. Antonis Gravanis, participated in a panel where the opportunities and possibilities for developing collaborations between start-ups in the industry were discussed.
