Hosting the ETPOA Secretariat )
Enterprise Greece is proud to host the Secretariat of the European Trade Promotion Organizations’ Association (ETPOA-AISBL) until 2025.
Enterprise Greece is one among the 12 founding members of ETPOA, founded in Brussels on 31/11/2018 with a two-fold aim:
- Represent the interests of its Members at European level and towards other competent authorities and institutions (e.g., DG GROW, DG TRADE, DG INTPA, EEAS)
- Strengthen the cooperation between Members through exchange of know-how and best practices, as well as participate in calls for tender or proposals from the European Union. The goal is to provide the best quality services to European SME’s by helping them develop sustainable international businesses.
ETPOA consists of 17 National Trade Promotion Organizations: 16 from EU Member States (the 3 Belgian TPOs, Cyprus, Estonia, France, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Lithuania, Spain, Malta, the Netherlands, Portugal, Slovenia), 1 from the European Free Trade Association, Switzerland, and 10 Regional Organizations and Agrifood Promotion Organizations from Austria, Germany, the United Kingdom etc.
Enterprise Greece, at the start of ETPOA (2018-2020), was unanimously elected as Vice President and Head of Secretariat (HoS), while in the last elections, it was reelected member of the Board of Directors and HoS for the period 2020-2022.
The successful course of the last two years led to the decision for Enterprise Greece to host the Secretariat of ETPOA at its premises until 2025, following a proposal submitted to the Board of Directors of ETPOA which was unanimously accepted.
An open call to apply for the position of Junior Assistant Secretary based in Athens, who will support the Head of the Secretariat, is already posted on the official website:
