Informational Seminar for Private Labels
Athens, 29 March 2019 | Enterprise Greece is organizing an informational seminar for Greek exporters on Friday, April 5, 2019, 09: 30-14: 30, at the Divani Caravel Hotel in Athens. The seminar is in preparation for the official national participation in the annual PLMA’s World of Private Label International Exhibition, which will take place in Amsterdam on 20-22 May 2019.
PLMA’s World of Private Label International Exhibition has been held for 33 years by the Private Label Maker Association with more than 4,400 members. The exhibition is considered to be the world’s leading international trade fair for private label products.
The Exhibition provides participants with the opportunity to present private label products to a wide range of prospective customers, including major retailers, importers, supermarkets and discount supermarkets, wholesalers, etc. from Europe, South and North America, Asia and Africa.
According to recent data, the market share of Private Label products continues to grow and is currently around 30% in 17 of the 20 European countries surveyed by the Nielsen agency on behalf of PLMA.
The aim of the seminar is to inform Greek exporters about the latest developments in the sector, both in Greece and abroad, about the promotion of private label products in international markets, as well as on the opportunities offered by their participation in the PLMA Amsterdam, Chicago and Shanghai International Exhibitions.
