More than 470 delegates from 20 countries attended the Resort & Residential Hospitality Forum (R&R) 2024
Athens, 21 November 2024| The Resort & Residential Hospitality Forum (R&R) was successfully held in Athens from 18 to 20 November 2024, hosted by Enterprise Greece.
R&R is the leading international investment forum in the tourism and real estate sector, focusing on investments for the development and operation of complex tourist resorts. With the participation of hotel chain owners, investors, developers and managers, the conference offers a unique platform for networking and promoting major tourism projects.
The choice of Greece to host the Forum, which is organized by Questex Hospitality & Travel, highlights our country’s position as a top investment and tourist destination.
More than 20 countries were represented at the Forum, including Greece, UK, Spain, Italy, Netherlands, France, Portugal, USA, Switzerland, United Arab Emirates, Germany, Turkey and Cyprus. In total, more than 470 representatives participated, including 70 investors and 50 senior executives (C-level). Participants had the opportunity to attend an intensive program of speeches and events, while the development prospects of the Mediterranean region for new projects or acquisitions were presented.
Enterprise Greece organized the welcome event on Monday, November 18, attended by senior executives from the hospitality and real estate ecosystem. The CEO of Enterprise Greece, Dr. Marinos Giannopoulos, delivered the opening speech of the conference on November 19, along with Mr. Alexi Khajavi, President of Hospitality, Travel & Wellness of Questex and Mr. Alexandros Vasilikos, President of the Hellenic Chamber of Hotels, strategic partner for hosting the conference in Greece.
The Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Costas Frangogiannis, addressed the event, referring to Greece’s strategic initiatives to attract investments and support the tourism sector.
The breakfast roundtable with the participation of Greek hotel companies, foreign groups and real estate service companies was a success.
