Presentation of the New Service “Enterprise Greece – Export Helpdesk”

Athens, 11 September 2024 | Enterprise Greece successfully held the official presentation of its new “Enterprise Greece – Export Helpdesk” service on September 8, 2024, at 12:30 p.m., at Pavilion 17, Stand 33A, within the framework of the 88th Thessaloniki International Fair (TIF). This new service will be a valuable tool for Greek businesses aiming to operate abroad.
The Export Helpdesk is an innovative online platform that offers personalized advice and information to Greek exporters, helping them better understand international markets and improve their export performance. The platform provides access to global databases, statistical analysis, market data and other tools that facilitate entry into international markets.
Since its initial period of operation, the Export Helpdesk has increased opportunities for Greek entrepreneurs, enabling them to improve their export performance in an increasingly competitive global market. This new service offers Greek exporters support for targeted export growth, covering high demand sectors, through the Export Potential Map Greece (International Trade Centre – ITC). Users of the platform have access to information related to procedures, customs issues, regulatory requirements and cooperation opportunities.
It is worth noting that this initiative was successfully integrated into EPANEK, which financed the entire cost of its development and initial operation until 2023. For the full-scale operation of the tool, launched in 2024, the service has been fully integrated into Enterprise Greece’s actions and budget.
The event was addressed by the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Costas Frangogiannis, while the CEO, Dr. Marinos Giannopoulos, presented in detail the new service. Company executives made a live presentation of the platform, demonstrating its operation and answering questions from the attending companies.
Mr. Giannopoulos stated: “The Export Helpdesk is the innovative tool that gives added value to Greek businesses, helping them take advantage of new export opportunities and strengthen their global presence. Enterprise Greece, through its Export Helpdesk, aims to further enhance the competitiveness of Greek businesses, equipping them with the necessary means to develop their export activities, while contributing to the sustainable development of the national economy.”
