Scandinavia – Nordic Organic Food Fair 2019
Athens, 15 November 2019 | Greek natural products companies staged a strong presence at this week’s Eco Life Scandinavia & Nordic Organic Food Fair 2019, highlighting the rapid growth and leading position of Greek natural products in world markets.
The exhibition, which took place 13-14 November in Malmö, Sweden, included 49 Greek companies who showcased the wide variety of their products. The Greek exhibitors held more than 1,000 business meetings with visitors: presenting the finest natural and organic food products, natural cosmetics and personal care products produced in Greece, and promoting them to professionals and businesses across Scandinavia.
As Greek exports have boomed in the last few years, Greek companies are increasingly looking to penetrate foreign markets. The high quality of Greek natural products is internationally recognized, with several large Greek companies already actively present in the global marketplace.
The Greek Ambassadors to Sweden, Andreas Fryganas, and to Denmark, Nikolaos Kotrokoes, the First Secretary of the Copenhagen Consular Office, Theodosios Theos, the Honorable Consul of Greece in Malmö, Sotirios Dikos, and the Trade Attaché, Pantelis Giannoulis, honored the national participation with their presence.
The Regions of Attica, Central Macedonia, Crete, and Central Greece, as well as the Larissa Chamber of Commerce, lent their support to their local companies participating in the exhibition.
