Stone Xiamen Fair 2024: Greek Marble with the support of Enterprise Greece at the leading exhibition of marble and natural stones
Athens, 29 March 2024 Enterprise Greece, in cooperation with the Association of Marble Enterprises of Macedonia and Thrace (SEMMTH), supported for the first time the national participation in the International Exhibition of marble and natural stones “Stone Xiamen Fair”, which was held from 16 to 19 March 2024 at the exhibition center “Xiamen International Conference and Exhibition Center”.
It is the leading event for the marble and natural stones industry outside Europe, which extends to a total of 8 exhibition spaces of 191,000 sq.m., gathering more than 2,000 exhibitors from all over the world and over 150,000 visitors from 120 countries. Among the visitors were international and domestic manufacturers, marble-stone suppliers, who had the opportunity to see state-of-the-art products and innovative services in the marble and natural stone industry.
The stands of the 13 Greek companies that participated covering a total area of 887 sq.m. at key points of “Stone Xiamen Fair”, presented impressive constructions and with the logo “GREEK MARBLE|Then.Now.Forever” to be part of their promotion, attracted thousands of visitors. It is worth noting that the Chinese market is the main exporting country of Greek marble, a fact that gives even greater value to our country’s presence in this international exhibition.
The Greek companies participated: DANAE LTD, MOSCHOU S.A. Marmi Graniti, M.V.M.GALANISP.C., F.H.L.I.KIRIAKIDIS MARBLES – GRANITES S.A., IKTINOS HELLAS S.A., PAVLIDIS S.A., NORDIA S.A., DERMITZAKIS BROS S.A., SOLAKIS ANTONIOS MARBLE S.A., STONETECH GONIANAKIS, SKARLIS MARBLE S.A., MARMYK ILIOPOULOS LTD., AGHIA MARINA MARBLE LTD – DIMITRIOS PERRAKIS.
Enterprise Greece had prepared a specially designed space of 24 sq.m., at a central point of the exhibition for the promotion of the Greek marble brand, as part of the 3-year strategic plan for the promotion of Greek Marble abroad, in collaboration with the Association of Marble Enterprises of Macedonia and Thrace (SEMMTH).
The Consul General in Guangzhou, Mr. Martin Mandalidis, visited the Greek representatives in the inauguration ceremony and also had the opportunity to meet and talk with the members of the national delegation.
