The Hotel Show Dubai Exhibition
Greece’s delegation to The Hotel Show Dubai distinguished itself with the presentation of two prototype hotel rooms – one for an urban setting, the other for a resort – showcasing the industry’s top notch design and top quality products at one of the world’s leading hospitality exhibitions.
The Greek participation at The Hotel Show Dubai, which took place 16-18 September in Dubai and represents a regular and growing calendar event in the Persian Gulf region, was organized by Enterprise Greece with the financial and conceptual support of the Attica Region and the cooperation of Greece’s 100% Hotel Show.
The companies taking part in the exhibition, under the organization of Enterprise Greece, were: Eurof Design, Bratti, TOG & TOG, Papoutsanis S.A., Proteas, G. Fytros & Sons
The two hotel suites, were constructed along the designs furnished by the award-winning Mastrominas Architecture firm (overall winner of the Hotel Design Awards 2017 by the 100% Hotel Show), and the established and award-winning industrial designer Sotiris Lazou Design Studio.
The companies providing products for the construction of the two rooms were: Bright Special Lighting SA, Media Strom, Homad, L+DG Lighting Architects, Caneplex Design, SØLØ, Tog & Tog, Iktinos Hellas SA, al2, Candia Strom, Kanelli SA, Nef-Nef SA, Wise.
The Greek participation at The Hotel Show Dubai, was highly successful in showcasing Greek hotel design, but also in promoting the products of the six Greek companies participating in the most significant hotel exhibition in the Middle East. The unique showroom concept helped add value for Greek exhibitors and received positive reviews from visitors to the Greek exhibition area.
Greek business representatives participating in the trade fair expressed their satisfaction with the organization of the Greek delegation and the high-quality of the Greek booths at the exhibition. Most have already committed to join the Greek delegation to next year’s show in September 2019, which will be even bigger with additional design and hospitality events planned.
