World Economic Forum in China
Enterprise Greece supports the Greek delegation to the World Economic Forum’s Annual Meeting of the New Champions, which will take place in Tianjin, China, on the 10-12th September 2014.
Τhe Annual Meeting of the New Champions convenes the next generation of fast-growing enterprises shaping the future of business and society together with leaders from major multinationals as well as government, media, academia and civil society. Over 1500 delegates, from over 90 countries, attend the meeting, discussing how innovation can be applied to bring the best results for all stakeholders.
The Greek delegation to this year’s meeting is organised by Introducing Leaders, in association with Enterprise Greece. The Organisation’s CEO, Mr. Stephanos Issaias, will head this delegation, which is comprised of representatives of top Greek enterprises.
The delegation aims to highlight the vast potential of the Greek economy, and to communicate to the leaders of the global economy the significant progress made by Greece in the last years. Mr. Issaias noted that “Greece is rebounding quickly, and is returing to the global economic stage to attract Foreign Direct Investment to the key sectors of the economy, all of which have great growth potential. Our presence in this very important forum will serve to highlight the progress of the Greek economy and the great opportunities which exist for foreign investors and businesses in our country.”
