Hosting the 87th Meeting of ETPO

Athens, 24 June 2020 | Enterprise Greece is organizing and hosting the 87th meeting of the Working Group of Information Professionals (WGIP) of the European Trade Promotion Organisations (ETPO) on 25-26 June. Representatives of 23 (twenty-three) organizations have confirmed their participation in the online meeting, being held at one of the most critical moments for economic growth in Europe.

In this demanding environment, Enterprise Greece has decided to include in this year’s program sessions that will focus on cutting-edge marketing and communication tools, new approaches to country branding, innovative export services, and ways to manage the aftermath of the COVID-19 pandemic.

This year’s meeting will also feature, as it does every year, a review of the efforts and initiatives taken by member organizations at the European level to support SMEs in effectively accessing international markets.

Enterprise Greece, responding to the challenges facing our ETPO colleagues in finding new ways to promote exports and provide comprehensive and effective support for their domestic exporters, will further organize the first WGIP boot camp on the second day of the meeting. The boot camp will address:

  • Social Media Strategies and Campaigns
  • Content Marketing and Country Branding
  • Measure what matters / Consumer trends and insights
  • Collaborating with Influencers
  • Safe to [in]vest in Exports

Due to the restrictions of the COVID-19 pandemic and in order to protect public health and safety, Enterprise Greece made the decision to hold the meeting online.

The European Trade Promotion Organisations Working Group of Information Professionals was initiated in 1973 and aims to exchange ideas and best practices between European TPOs in the field of information processing and dissemination.
