First Greek participation in Project Lebanon 2018 international building exhibition

Greek companies have participated for the first time in Project Lebanon 2018, the international exhibition of construction materials and equipment held June 26-29 in Beirut, as part of their efforts to expand into Middle Eastern markets.

The Greek pavilion, organized by Enterprise Greece, included five companies producing solar energy systems, aluminum windows and doors, mortar and plumbing systems, where they presented their products to visiting business representatives. The Greek companies participating expressed their complete satisfaction with the quality, focus and effectiveness of the meetings they held.

B2B meetings with Lebanese and Syrian companies, were organized by event organizer IFP as part of the exhibition. The meetings drew construction company executives, as well as a large turnout of architects and civil engineers. The excellent reach of the B2B meetings will further strengthen bilateral relations and open new business prospects.

Lebanese Prime Minister Saad el-Hariri inaugurated the Project Lebanon 2018 exhibition and also paid a visit to the Greek stand.

Paraskevi Tasakou, the commercial attaché at the Greek Embassy in Beirut, attended the exhibition and gave a briefing to the Greek exhibitors.
