Greece at Big 5 Dubai, the most influential construction exhibition in the Middle East
Athens, 18 November 2022 | Sixty Greek companies will participate in this year’s Big 5 Dubai trade show, the most important exhibition in the Middle East for the building and construction sector. This year’s Greek participation is expected to be even larger than in 2019, when Greece had the second largest participation from Europe and the fifth largest globally, attesting to the dynamic extroversion of the Greek construction sector.
This year’s Big 5 will take place for the 43rd year at the Dubai World Trade Center in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, from 5 to 8 December 2022. The Greek national pavilion, of 1,650 sq.m, is organized by Enterprise Greece. The participating Greek companies will have the opportunity to showcase their products, know-how and technology to a large number of visitors and businesspeople from all over the world.
For the first time, during the exhibition, a special area will be dedicated to the promotion of the Greek Marble sector. This initiative of Enterprise Greece is in collaboration with the Association of Marble Businesses of Macedonia-Thrace (SEMMTH), and aims to expand the exports of Greek Marble, based on the three-year strategic plan of SEMMTH.
Also, for the 3rd consecutive year, Greece will have the largest national presence in the Startup City area of the exhibition. 10 Greek startups will be participating to demonstrate their innovative technologies developed for the building materials and construction industry.
Furthermore, Greece will participate in the parallel exhibition and conference Everything Architecture, which is organized for the first time this year at The Big 5.

The Big 5 unites key stakeholders from across the global construction value chain with qualified international audiences and the aim to nurture innovation and capitalize on the opportunity of nearly $4 trillion worth of unawarded projects across the MEASA region.
In parallel with The Big 5 and in the same exhibition space, the following exhibitions will take place: The Big 5 Heavy, Middle East Concrete, HVAC R Expo Dubai, The Big 5 Solar, Urban Design & Landscape Expo, Middle East Stone, Everything Architecture as well as the participation of startup enterprises in Startup City.
