18 greek companies at INTERSOLAR 2024- The most important exhibition for equipment and investments in RES, energy storage, and electric mobility

Athens, 28 June 2024 | Greece had a dynamic presence this year at the Intersolar Europe 2024 conference and exhibition, the most important event in Europe for the photovoltaic market, which was held in Munich, Germany, from Tuesday 18 to Friday, 21 June 2024.

During the exhibition, Enterprise Greece held 22 business meetings to inform major companies in the sector about the performance of the Greek economy, the continuous improvement of the investment climate, the advantages that our country presents for the development of new RES and energy storage projects, as well as the regulatory and sectoral developments of new projects. At the same time, it was confirmed that Greece is emerging as a regional energy hub, gathering international investment interest.

This year's event was attended by 18 Greek companies with a strong export profile, which had the opportunity to promote their innovative products and services related to the development of photovoltaic parks, energy storage equipment, as well as special software, and electromechanical equipment. Greek companies were completely satisfied with the business contacts they made during the exhibition, which gathered more than 3,000 exhibitors and 110,000 visitors from 176 countries.

Before the exhibition, the Intersolar Europe conference was held, during which it was stressed that the production of electricity from renewable sources, 24 hours a day and for 365 days a year, is technologically and economically feasible, as the required technologies are already available on the market and economies of scale lead to a fall in the corresponding prices. This year's event placed particular emphasis on smart, cross-sectoral networking in RES, the increasing digitalization and flexibility of energy infrastructure, the continued increase in the contribution of renewable energy sources and electromobility, as well as the increased demand for energy storage systems using batteries.
