GREEK-NORDIC TRADE WEEK 2020

Athens, 12 November 2020 Fifty of the most extroverted Greek companies were selected to participate in the Greek-Nordic Trade Week (November 16-20,2020), the 1st consolidated export initiative towards the Scandinavian markets, co-organized online by RECO EXPORTS & MOREGANIC and Enterprise Greece.

A total of 127 companies applied, indicating that the Nordic-Baltic Eight countries (NB8) - Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Iceland, Latvia, Lithuania, Norway and Sweden) consist an attractive export destination for Greek food and beverages, branded or P/L.

The large number of applications from the most dynamic companies in the sector, is mostly because of the outstanding strategic approach and organization of the project, which was the result of the accumulated vast experience of all three co-organizers.

Through a carefully designed process, which included, amongst others, the individual consulting for each company, sending samples and their safe storage in Sweden, Greek-Nordic Trade Week organized for each company online meetings with byers, based on the criteria set by the participating companies, e.g. target / profile of the exporter / production level.

All the above, in combination with the huge growth dynamics of the markets of the eight countries (NB8), highlighted the Greek-Nordic Trade Week as one of the most targeted and successful events for the promotion of the Greek Agri-Food sector.

Among the participants were companies of the so-called “HELLA-DIKA MAS” initiative, as well as, the Regions of Central Greece and Epirus, which want to access the markets of Scandinavian countries and the Baltics.
