Seminar: Understanding the Business of Specialty Foods in the USA

Enterprise Greece will hold an information seminar on Thursday, June 7, 2018, 09:30-15:30 at the Electra Metropolis Hotel in Athens, within the framework of the official Greek participation as Partner Country in the international exhibition, Summer Fancy 2018, which will take place in New York from June 30 to July 2, 2018.

The main speaker will be Mr. Phil Kafarakis, President of the Specialty Food Association, which is the organizer of the exhibition.

The Summer Fancy International Exhibition is held every year and is the leading trade event for the US food industry, attracting thousands of visitors from all over North America.

Greece’s participation in Summer Fancy 2018 as this year’s Partner Country is part of a national action plan aimed at enhancing the international visibility of Greek businesses, in order to promote Greek exports and attract investment.

The steady growth of Greek food and beverage exports to the US and the rest of the world is a testament to the high quality and nutritional value of Greek food products. It also demonstrates how Greek F&B companies are successfully penetrating both existing markets as well as new ones. A strong Greek presence in major international exhibitions is an important part of this successful export strategy.
