From Greece to Paris: The Dynamic Force of Greek Creativity

Athens, 4 February 2026 | With the participation of 53 Greek companies in the international trade fairs MAISON & OBJET and WHO’S NEXT – BIJORHCA in Paris, Greece once again confirmed this winter the dynamism, quality, and extroversion of the country’s contemporary creative sector.

The International Home Decoration and Interior Design Exhibition MAISON & OBJET took place from 15 to 19 January at the Paris Nord Villepinte exhibition center, attracting more than 67,000 visitors from 148 countries and 2,300 exhibiting companies from 49 countries. This year’s edition centered on the theme “Past Reveals Future: A Revisited Memory,” placing particular emphasis on sustainability, a return to roots, and craftsmanship, highlighting the timeless value of design through a contemporary lens.

The Greek national participation recorded its strongest presence in recent years, with 30 Greek companies presenting products of high aesthetic value and quality, strongly reflecting Greek identity and attracting significant international buyer interest. The participating companies were: MEXIL, JOIN CLOTHES, WAKS – HELLENIC CANDLE COMPANY, KORES, MINIMUM A&N TSOUKALA, PINAKOTHIKI, S. ALEXOPOULOS, AELIA ANNA, HARA KARAMICHALI JEWELLERY, AGAPIS JEWELLERY, OLGA BELIGIANNI, ZAKARTEX, AEOLIS, SORBET ISLAND, 7PM LEATHER JEWELS, MANOPOULOS CHESS & BACKGAMMON, ANDROMEDA, SORENA, FINE GREEK JEWELRY – UNIQUENESS, TOPOS WORKSHOP, BORD DE L’EAU, B&N CONTRACT FURNITURE – 10DEKA, V AND V MACRAME, MORFES, DORA HARALAMBAKI, PNT WORLD, THE OWL, DASSIOS, MAISON AETHERION, BLUECYCLE.

During the same period, specifically from 17 to 19 January, the leading European fashion and jewelry exhibition WHO’S NEXT – BIJORHCA was held at the Porte de Versailles exhibition center. The recent edition hosted more than 1,700 exhibitors and welcomed over 45,000 visitors. Greece’s participation, organized through Enterprise Greece, included 23 companies, with our country ranking 2nd among the top participating nations in the jewelry sector. The Greek companies that participated were: MAT FASHION, AGGEL, MILLA, EKATERINI, ACCESS FASHION, VALTADOROS MYKONOS, ILIAS VARDAVAKIS, SEVEN SINS, SORBET ISLAND, KOURBELA, SAC & CO ATHENS, It’s all, oh so souvenir to me!, KATERINA VASSOU JEWELLERY, FL PRIVATE COLLECTION, CHRISTINA BRAMPTI, GEORGIA CHARAL, FOBE, CHARACTER JEWELS, ONIROLITHI, DIMITRIADIS ART WEAR, MARGUERITE BIJOUX, KALLIOPE JEWELLERY, E-NAZAR.

Throughout the preparation and implementation of both events, the executives of the Office for Economic and Commercial Affairs in Paris stood alongside the Greek companies, actively supporting the organization of their participation and contributing to the expansion of their networking with international buyers and industry professionals.

The Chargé d’Affaires of the Hellenic Authority in Paris, Ambassador Ms. Alexandra Mantzila, honored the MAISON & OBJET with her presence and she commented: “This year’s dynamic participation of 30 Greek companies at the international design exhibition ‘Maison & Objet’ in Paris, supported by Enterprise Greece, highlighted the extroversion and high aesthetic standards of Greek creative design. During my visit to the exhibition, I witnessed the innovation, quality, and professionalism of the Greek companies, which expressed satisfaction with the opportunities to expand partnerships in the French and international markets. Their participation in such events strengthens export activity and knowledge exchange, paving the way for the next edition in September 2026 and reaffirming the value of Greek entrepreneurship in the sector.”

The CEO of Enterprise Greece, Dr. Marinos Giannopoulos, also referred to the country’s successful presence: “The image presented by our companies in Paris reflects not only their creativity and professionalism, but also the growing recognition of the Greek brand in international markets.
